THE REBBE: FROM HIS OWN WORDS: Every living thing, especially a living person, and surely a Jew, who behaves in accordance with the Torah of Life, which was given to us by the Living God must not remain static, but he is expected to grow from strength to strength, reaching ever higher. He must always add: Even if he already achieved good things and holy things, with good things and holy things, charity and kindness, he should never be satisfied with what he achieved yesterday –no matter how good it was, and no matter how perfect. All that is required is that he remain connected to the “powerhouse”, to God, who is the source of “the strength to accomplish valiantly”. When he has the will to fulfill the mission that God has given him, for which God made him an emissary: To elevate the entire world around him.
