THE SCOTLAND BILL (2012) ----------------------------------- The politicos made a deal in 1979 with Scotland in a referendum and the Tories stole the show at the end by introducing a clause at the end of counting votes when they lost, to retain power in Scotland. Confirmation of this is available online. Scotland voted YES in 1979. THE SCOTLAND BILL (2012): The £4.6 billion to be cut by Osborne (in 2016) from Barnet was planned in the Scotland Bill (2012). Obviously, the stepping stone for: -privatisation -job cuts -borrowing, debt -interest meaning bills rise substantially In Scotland a NO vote would bring that in 2016. Would you vote NO knowing that? The above practical sequiturs flowing from the Scotland Bill 2012, if we vote NO in 2014 being rewarded with such negative detrimentals in 2016. This was decided in 2012 by Unionist MPs at Westminster, with out the Consent of the Scottish People, and our Scottish Parliament Ministers. We in Scotland wouldnt vote for this, would we? IF WE VOTE NO IN 2014 - this is our reward in 2016: - Being pulled further into an Austerity-driven right-wing macro-economic environment. - In 2014 Scotland falling for the tax raising powers option (DEVO MAX) being NOW spoken about in the media as an incentive to vote NO. THIS IS GIVING US THE ILLUSIONS OF POWER - In 2016 a reduction of our £30bn Barnett blockgrant down to £25.4bn (less than 50% of taxes raised in Scotland (£59.9bn). - Again; while cutting the Barnet Formula down by £4.6bn to the new £25.4bn in 2016 aims to pull us into cuts, privatisation, debt, and interest payments. Essentially, this NO vote attempts to convince Scotland that more powers means greater autonomy to raise taxes (Devo Max). DEVO MAX really only serves to fill the blackhole created by the £4.6bn reduction blockgrant, as a result of a NO vote. THIS IS DEVASTATING TO THE SCOTTISH ECONOMY AND PUBLIC SECTOR. A NO vote costs us £4.6bn - minimum! A NO VOTE MEANS HOUSEHOLD BILLS WILL RISE AS COUNCILS RAISE TAXES THIS REFERENDUM IS SO CRUCIAL TO SCOTLANDS FUTURE. IF WE VOTE YES: We use the full £59.9bn = 100% of our taxes, in line of the BOE obligations. We gain 84% of economic sovereignty, same as Westminster enjoys currently as the BoE is independent from Westminster. 100% of social sovereignty and crucially : 100% Tax raising/Reduction power AGAIN 100% of the £59.9bn taxes in 2016 Lift the threat of a forced blockgrant cut down to £25.4bn. (less than 50% of curreint taxes) in 2016. Plus, we would get the governments we vote for, 100% of the time. ============================
