THE TEACHER WHO EXPELLED THE PRESIDENT FROM SCHOOL - By E.A Adeboye In 1963, I was a teacher at ondo Boys High School and the late Azikwe came to visit Ondo as the president of Nigeria and of course all of us lined up-teachers and everybody. As he was driving past,he looked and saw a man who was his former tutor and stopped. I want you to imagine what happened- the motorcade was going but the president stopped,came down from the vehicle,went to his former tutor and shook his hand. Everybody was looking at this tutor and thought that he must be very special. He was one of the tutors at Ondo Boys high school where I was teaching but instead of this tutor to rejoice, he began to weep. papa,why are you weeping? We asked. He was the one who dismissed Azikwe from school. Because he was dismissed from school,Azikwe was determined to succeed so he stowed away in a ship to America where God took over. He came back and became the President of the nation. Thus when he saw the man who dismissed him from school,he stopped the motorcade in order to say,your plan for me was evil but look at me now. Theres somebody here today,one day you will stop the whole crowd to greet somebody who wanted evil for you and you will say,look at me now,you meant evil for me but the evil has become a blessing. If you are the one let me hear a loud Amen!
