“Then upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of the LORD in the midst of the congregation”. (2 Chronicles 20 vs 14). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today. In our Focal Scripture, the Spirit of God came upon a Levite named Jahaziel, and he eventually prophesied to the nation of Judah. The Spirit of God came upon Jahaziel and he became a major voice in his generation. One of the Patriarchs in the lineage of Jahaziel was a man named Jeiel. The name “JEIEL” is interpreted to mean “CARRIED BY GOD”. So, Jahaziel was a descendant of ‘Carried by God’. Friend, for you to attain greatness, one thing is needful: God needs to carry you. If you would ever transit from the level of Ordinary to Extraordinary, the hand of God needs to carry You to the next level. Hard work is good and commendable, even God encourages everyone to work hard; but greatness isn’t birthed by hardwork alone; there are realms of greatness that can only be attained when God carries you in His arms. When God carries you, your destiny won’t move at your speed, you will move at God’s speed. When God carries you, the obstacles that stopped others cannot stop you. When God carries you; He crushes your opposition, melts your mountains and makes your little efforts to yield uncommon results. When God carries a man, GRACE is unleashed in immeasurable manner! Like a little child, can you raise your hands and declare with me, “LORD, CARRY ME”. Pray with me, “Lord, carry me into the next level of glory and greatness in my destiny in Jesus name”.
