THE THREE DAY WEEK Everyone thinks they have all the answers but - TopicsExpress

THE THREE DAY WEEK Everyone thinks they have all the answers but in reality it’s the questions that we are most familiar with. One of the first questions in the Old Testament was from God. He said “where art thou?” It was addressed to Adam and Eve who were trying to hide behind a tree. It wasn’t that God didn’t know where they were – He just wanted them to come out from hiding. One of the first questions in the New Testament came from man. It states “where is he?” Shepherds saw his star in the sky and were seeking him for the purpose of worshiping him. These two questions pretty well define life. Either God seeks us or we seek him. The answer is run from him or run to him. God is not in hiding. He is readily available. He says “call upon me and I will show you great and mighty things which you know not.” We can’t blame yesterday but we can delay results by trying to shove our responsibility into tomorrow land. Today is the day – now is the time. Pharaoh was knee deep in frogs and when offered the opportunity for immediate deliverance he asked for one more day. Jesus is your answer because YESTERDAY, TODAY AND FOREVER Jesus is the same. In him there is no variableness or shadow of change. The truth is that today is merely a vessel in which the answer performs. Our best hope is to square off with the enemy and decree the solution that the word of God has already provided. TODAY IS THE DRESS REHERSAL FOR TOMOROWS SUCCESS. With an open book test success is guaranteed if we will just take the time to OPEN THE BOOK. THE THREE DAY WEEK Seven days in a week is way to many Yesterday, today and tomorrow would be plenty Actually just today would work real fine What if today was your only deadline? What offers more hope than the promise of tomorrow? It is the promise from which I must forever borrow? Tomorrow finally arrives and suddenly it’s today again Yesterday is gone – today begins a brand new campaign If tomorrow will be better – today isn’t at its best Yesterdays problems presented an overwhelming quest Today is yesterdays tomorrow but still suppressed Today is the dress rehearsal for tomorrow’s success Yesterday has memories but tomorrow is just a guess Today is merely substance with which we invest Tomorrow is but a dream and offers no control Yesterday and today must have a goal Time, like money must be used and spent If we could figure that out we’d all be content We all have twenty four fresh hours in every day Tomorrow being better depends on our actions today They say life is an open book test If that is so there’s no reason to guess Yesterday is proof of what can be done Tomorrow we’ll exclaim that “we’ve won” R.L.
