THE TROOPS FIGHT FOR US AND OUR FREEDOM BUT DO THEY? Lets examine this. The troops are commanded by commanders, that are commanded by commanders that get their orders from our commander and chief and congress, who receive lobbyist money from corporations to wage wars in their financial favor. Do you give any commands to the troops? No. Do you see first hand anything that they do to fight for freedom? No, because you are busy being distracted while they guard opium fields, oil fields, and set up murderous military police states in middle eastern countries for territorial government (gang) wars. At a time when the actions of U.S. troops abroad are being emulated by an increasingly violent and militarized domestic police force, and espionage activities normally only directed at hostile forces are routinely used against citizens accused of no crimes, and we have the largest victimless crime prison population in the world, it is simply ludicrous to claim that the troops defend freedom. The very fact that government is arming Syrian rebels which are linked to al-Qaeda forces (you know, the people we are told our troops are fighting for freedom) is a dead give away that our government is merely commanding troops to do whatever serves their wallet best. By promoting the idea of military service as glorified, you are individually culpable for the soldiers who die in immoral wars. When you thank soldiers and wear clothing displaying military branches, you elevate the idea in the minds of the youth that service is a viable option of work. In other words, you stupidity and blind nationalistic loyalism perpetuates the unnecessary deaths of hundreds of thousands of people. Every single empire tells itself and the world that is is unlike all the other empires, that its mission is not to plunder and control but to educate and liberate. The U.S. empire is no different.
