"THE UN’s international inspector on housing rights yesterday said vulnerable Scots were living in fear of losing their home because of the hated bedroom tax.Rolnik, who met tenants and housing officials in Edinburgh and Glasgow, said the tax had been raised repeatedly. She said: “I worry about the testimony from vulnerable groups, people with disabilities and learning difficulties who have independent living where they are and have the support to live with dignity. “They are now in fear of losing that if they are obliged to move if the amount of benefit available to them is cut, or if they have to pay more to live in the place where they have specially adapted rooms.” The housing specialist is visiting the UK to see if housing policy complies with the UN charter on human rights." dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/daily-record-hand-over-bedroom-2254966
