THE VERSE FOR TODAY; - is the first commandment of GOD given to MOSES. ( EXODOS 20:3-5) says,,, You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on earth beneath or under waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am jealous God punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me. Every land of many idols, and many Gods if we worship them and bow down to them. The LORD GOD, who created the heaven and the earth will be jealous and punishing the people. Today many people worshipping many god, because each gods represented a different aspect of life. Just like the Israelites, it was common to worship many gods in order to get the maximum number of blessings. But if they didnt learn that the GOD who led them out of Egypt was the only true GOD, thy could not be His people - no matter how faithfully they kept the other commandments.
