THE WEEKEND IS ALMOST OVER (here in Toronto), WHICH MEANS WE ONLY HAVE TWO FULL WEEKENDS LEFT! Get your lists in! Whew. Jeff had a good question earlier, on the point system used to determine the Club Top Ten. Pretty simple, really. You can offer lists with any number of albums, but only your top ten will be in competition. Each mention for an album gets one point added to an overall total. If you give us an unranked list, then each album on that list will get a single point. For ranked lists, a number one pick (your top album) receives ten points. Your number two pick, receives nine points. Your number three pick receives eight points etc etc. I will keep a running tally of all the submitted lists and provide the Club Top Ten, probably moments after the deadline (again, 11:59pm December 26 - Toronto time). A little later after that, I will give up a Top Twenty that includes all the math. So post your lists here. Put your lists on personal blogs or podcasts and Ill catch them there. Just give a link. Add your friends to the Club and pester them to make lists. It gets more fun each year as our Club grows. Last year we had 50 lists; this year we want more. What else? Yes, it is the tail end of long Day Seven (thanks Peter, for your daily posts - theyre awesome). I dont want to cut an album from my long list.
