THE WONDERFUL JESUS IN ALL THE BOOKS OF THE BIBLE: Luke.24:27, 44-45; Acts.18:28; Acts.28:23. Jesus Christ of Nazareth is a unique personality. He is unique in life and unique in death, burial and resurrection. He is the only man born on earth without sin. He was born of a virgin. He is God incarnated into the flesh for to suffer and die for our redemption. Through His death on the cross of Calvary He has obtained for us eternal redemption. He is the central message of the bible. That means in every book of the bible Christ was mentioned both in type and prophesies. Let us go through the bible and see what each book has to say about Jesus. In Genesis- He is the Seed of the woman ordained to bruise the head of Satan the serpent, He is the Shiloh unto whom the gathering of the people will be. In Exodus- He is the Passover Lamb sacrificed for our salvation and security. He is the Eternal Rock that supplies the water of life. In Leviticus- He is our high priest who is touched by the feeling of our infirmities. In Numbers- He is the brazen serpent raised up for the salvation and the healing of the Nations. For as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness even so must the Son of man be lifted up whosoever believeth on Him shall have everlasting life. In Deut- He is the Prophet like unto Moses who has come to reveal the mind of God unto us. In Joshua- He is the Captain of the host of the Lord who has come to fight our battle for us and to help us possess our possession. In Judges- He is the impartial Judge and lawgiver. In Ruth- He is the restorer of life and lost hope. In 1&2 Samuel- He is the Ark of the living God before whom all Dagon gods will fall flat. In 1&2 Kings- He is the reigning King whose dominion covers the whole earth and will never come to an end. In 1&2 Chronicles- He is the strength of God and the one who will never loss any battle. In Ezra- He is the faithful reformer. In Nehemiah- He is the rebuilder of the broken walls of our lives, families and ministries. In Esther- He is the king before whom (Satan and antichrist) represented by Haman will fall flat. In Job- He is our living Redeemer. In Psalms- He is the Lord our Shepherd, our light and helper. In Proverbs- He is the Wisdom of God and the true friend that sticketh closer than a brother. In Eccl- He is the true preacher who has come to instruct us on the vanities of this world. In Songs of Solomon- He is the bridegroom of the church, the lover of our soul who has brought us into His banquet house and his banner over us is love. In Isaiah- He is the King upon whose shoulder the government of your life and my life is. He is the man of sorrow who has borne our grief and carried our sorrows. In Jeremiah- He is the Lord our Righteousness who has come to impart His righteousness unto us. In Lamentation- He is the weeping prophet weeping over Jerusalem and over unrepentant people of the world. In Ezekiel- He is the watchman watching over the sheep of His flocks. He is the hope of the hopeless brining revival and life to dry bones. In Daniel- He is the son of God, our great companion in the fiery furnace of afflictions. In Hosea- He is the merciful lover who is ever willing to receive and restore backsliders. In Joel- He is the baptizer with the Holy Ghost. In Amos- He is the consuming fire judging sinners in righteousness. In Obadiah- He is the everlasting possession of the redeemed. In Jonah- He the true Evangelist sent to seek the lost. In Micah- He is the Ruler whose going forth is from everlasting. In Nahum- He is the stronghold in the day of trouble. In Habakkuk- He is the ever present Lord whose presence in His temple brings mercy and revival. In Zephaniah- He is the Mighty one, mighty to save and protect. In Haggai- He is the desire of all the Nations and the Joy of the whole earth. In Zechariah- He is the fountain open for sin and uncleanness. You can be cleansed from all your filthiness. In Malachi- He is the purifier and the sun of righteousness. In all these Old Testament we see that Christ is unique in all things. Now let us see what the New Testament has to say. In-fact the first book of the New Testament begins with Jesus. Mt.1:1. In Matthew- He is Emmanuel God with us. In Mark- He is the holy one of God, the only begotten son of God who came to take us son of men and to make us sons of God. In Luke- He is the great physician He heals all our sickness. In John- He is the Lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world. He is the resurrection and the life. In Acts of the Apostles- He is the prince of life, the anointed one who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil. In Romans- He is our Justifier and great Redeemer. In 1&2 Corinth- He is our Passover, the Rock of ages and the only foundation on which the church is built. In Galatians- He is the redeemer from the curse of the law. In Ephesians- He is the chief cornerstone, the head of the church. In Philippians- He is the highly exalted one at the mention of whose name every knee must bow. In Colossians- He is the invisible image of the invisible God. In whom the believers are complete. In 1&2Thess- He is the soon coming King. In 1&2 Timothy- He is the only mediator between God and man. In Titus- He is God’s final sacrifice for sin who gave Himself to redeem us from all iniquities. In Philemon- He is our substitute through whom we receive forgiveness from God. In Hebrews- He is our sanctifier cleansing us from self and sin, and all the pollutions of sin. In James- He is the Lord of Glory, whose coming is close at the door. In 1&2Peter- He is the great shepherd, the overseer and bishop of our soul. In 1, 2&3 John- He is the propitiation for our sins and the one the one that came to destroy all the works of the devil. In Jude- He is the Lord coming with ten thousands of His saints. In Revelation.-He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, the Lord of lords and the King of kings. He is the one that holds the key of heaven and hell, the one that open and no man can close. And close and no man can open. His name is Jesus. MAKE HIM YOUR LORD AND SAVIOUR AND YOUR ALL IN ALL TODAY IF YOU HAVE NOT DONE SO.
