THEOPNEUSTOS “GOD BREATHED” SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 20TH 2014 TITLE: TAKE THAT FIRST STEP MESSAGE BY PASTOR CHARLES Habakkuk 2:2 “And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. ” The problem with many folks is how to begin a thing. The fear of failing, the fear of making a mistake has always been the number one major obstacle. Every great step starts small. That king you know started off as a toddler. That skyscraper started with one block. Just begin; the most important thing is to begin. The fastest running man in the world right now called Usain Bolt began with a first step as a toddler, there was a time in his life when he stood upon to take his first step and fell down. I remember the seventh month after the birth of my first son when he took his first step, he made that attempt to walk, he fell but he didn’t give up. He stood up and continued again and I and his mother kept cheering him up, we clapped, we told him you can do it. And he eventually got better and began to run before the eight month. You can never perfect until you take your first step. Until you begin you will never be a specialist. I remember when God called me to start a church, I would go for soul winning but they ended up going to another church, I was never discouraged. The essence of soul winning is not to fill the pews of the church. Eventually people started coming and the number keeps growing. Don’t let that dream exist only in your heart, stop talking too much about your ideas, get on with it. Start that small project, it will soon become big. Start that business. Send out your CV’s to different companies, go and make those enquiries. Begin to do something no matter how small. Stop saying soon I will start, I know I can do it and one day I will start, stop proclaiming, just start it. Intention is not action. Write that book, just start it. “The journey of a million miles starts with a step”. Run with your vision. Run with it.
