THERES GOOD BOOS TONIGHT! - Starring : The Friendly Ghost, CASPER Although, I *dont* get into Halloween all that heavy, this one goes out to all my m8s in expectations of the 31st of October.. In particular : Jodi Jancsi Burdon (Who believed in my potential, even when *I* didnt!), Mark Arnold (I am *still* grateful for yer making that BABY HUEY SHOW VHS tape fer me in 1994, m8..), Will Moquin, and Selah Sparkles (Hey, you are STILL being asked about by a modelling agency or two here.. :D ) This then, is the debut of one of The Most Famed Spectres in entertainment history, as originally devised by JOE ORIOLO...*NOT* as an animated character, but originally as a novella character, written to calm his daughters fear of ghosts.. The original design of CASPER was devised by Master Artiste SY REIT. I first saw this vignette on the big screen in 1990, at a cartoon & comics convention in Gefle, Sweden....Packed with folk from all round the world (I was the only Yank-American there.... :/ ) and a lot of *FUN!* When this vignette was over, and the lights came up, one could hear....and see.....the women in the audience sniffling & sobbing over the ending. It was in that moment that This Chicagoan ascertained that The No. 2 Pencil Is Mightier Than The Sword. And......I decided that the time would soon come...when I would stop throwin my life away in The Cleveland Police Radio Centre....and pursue my *TRUE* calling.
