LA ILAH HA IL ALLAH! MUHAMMAD DAN RASUL ALLAH! THERE IS NO GOD BUT GOD! MUHAMMAD IS THE MESSENGER OF ALLAH (GOD) Ayat al-Kursi is verse 255 of the second chapter (Surah) of the Holy Quran, Surat al-Baqarah (The Chapter of the Cow) Below is the Arabic text, the transliteration, and the English translation and then some of the benefits of reciting this verse, the Verse of the Throne: اللَّهُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ لاَ تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلاَ نَوْمٌ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهُ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِهِ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلاَ يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلاَّ بِمَا شَاءَ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاو ;َاتِ وَالأَرْضَ وَلاَ يَئُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ Allahu la ilaha illa Huwa, Al-Haiyul-Qaiyum La takhudhuhu sinatun wa la nawm, lahu ma fis-samawati wa ma fil-ard Man dhal-ladhi yashfau indahu illa bi-idhnihi Yalamu ma baina aidihim wa ma khalfahum, wa la yuhituna bi shaiim-min ilmihi illa bima shaa Wasia kursiyuhus-samawati wal ard, wa la yauduhu hifdhuhuma Wa Huwal Aliyul-Adheem Allah! There is no god but He - the Living, The Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him Nor Sleep. His are all things In the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede In His presence except As he permitteth? He knoweth What (appeareth to His creatures As) Before or After or Behind them. Nor shall they compass Aught of his knowledge Except as He willeth. His throne doth extend Over the heavens And on earth, and He feeleth No fatigue in guarding And preserving them, For He is the Most High. The Supreme (in glory). [114:1] اللہ کے نام کے ساتھ جو بے انتہا رحم کرنے والا، بِن مانگے دینے والا (اور) بار بار رحم کرنے والا ہے۔ [114:2] Say, ‘I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, [114:2] تُو کہہ دے کہ میں انسانوں کے ربّ کی پناہ مانگتا ہوں۔ [114:3] ‘The King of mankind, [114:3] انسانوں کے بادشاہ کی۔ [114:4] ‘The God of mankind, [114:4] انسانوں کے معبود کی۔ [114:5] ‘From the evil of the sneaking whisperer, [114:5] بکثرت وسوسے پیدا کرنے والے کے شرّ سے، جو وسوسہ ڈال کر پیچھے ہٹ جاتا ہے۔ [114:6] ‘Who whispers into the hearts of men, [114:6] وہ جو انسانوں کے دلوں میں وسوسے ڈالتا ہے۔ [114:7] ‘From among the Jinn and mankind.’ [114:7] (خواہ) وہ جنوں میں سے ہو (یعنی بڑے لوگوں میں سے) یا عوام النا س میں سے۔ In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. 1. Say: I seek refuge with the Lord and Cherisher of Mankind, 2. The King (or Ruler) of Mankind, 3. The Allah (for judge) of Mankind,- 4. From the mischief of the Whisperer (of Evil), who withdraws (after his whisper),- 5. (The same) who whispers into the hearts of Mankind,- 6. Among Jinn and among men [114:1] In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful. For distress! In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. 1. Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds; 2. Most Gracious, Most Merciful; 3. Master of the Day of Judgment. 4. Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek. 5. Show us the straightway, 6.
