THIRSTY FOR REVIVAL When immorality is on a rise, when children murder their own parents, when young men and women are wasting away because of substance abuse, sickness and disease. When the church has turned apostate, when the government does not have the interest of the people at heart, hell-bent on squandering our national income and inflicting heavy taxes upon our people. Look around you things are slowly dying, companies liquidated, economies are suffering, climates changing, some parts dry without rain, countries rising up against each other and children all around the world dying of poverty. We have billionaires and millionaires both in the world and the church yet theres very little impact, people get what they can and sit on top of the can. Peoples hearts have grown cold, people live to serve their selfish ambitions, they couldnt care less about tending to the needs of the poor, they could care less in building houses for the homeless, they could care less in providing health care to those without it. As long as their lives are looking good, as longs as their books are balanced, as long as their families are flourishing, they have nothing to worry about. Our churches are doing the same, they couldnt care less about our society as long as the numbers come in, as long as tithes and offerings are coming in, as long as they have a competitive advantage against each other, as long as their arenas are exalted far above the needs of people, THEY COULDNT CARE LESS. These are marks of death and slumber and nothing will do unless we have a revival. Lord send your revival and an awekening in our generation, that we may hear from you once again, that our societies may be transformed once again. We are thirsty for revival, Lord prepare our hearts, we will not let you go until you intervene, LORD SEND REVIVAL!!! And My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land_2 Corinthians 7:14 PRAYER Lord we humble ourselves before you, we confess all our sins and implore that you would purge us from all uncleanesis, purge our families, societies, our government and every sphere in our country and the entire world. Draw all those who do not know you to yourself, fill them with your Word and your Spirit, perform mighty miracles among us,that the blind may see, that the cripple may walk, that the deaf may hear and the mute may begin to speak. That those who suffer from all manner of sickness, disease and afflictions may find healing and relief. Quickens us Lord, remove stony hearts from us, call us out of darkness, call us out from the grave and comfort zones that we may worship you in Jesus name, amen.
