THIS BACHELOR’S NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS: ( A Christmas poem dedicated to all bachelors everywhere) Twas the night before Christmas and all through my house It was all cluttered and dusty; man I gotta find me a spouse. My stockings are all nasty, the bathroom’s a mess Where the hell my clean drawers are is anybody’s guess. I got no sweet woman, I need some hot loving.. and a cook. Can’t find an edible morsel, no matter where I look. McDonalds drive through is closed, oh no Wendy’s is too. I could really go for a Baconator or a Fillet o’ Fish to chew. Shew wee... my cheese smells moldy, my milk done went flat If I could catch it I swear, I’d eat that frickin’ rat. Who ate all the baloney, the pizza and the rice? A Ding Dong, a fig newton, or a Twinkie would sure be nice. I’d never imagined, nor would I have ever believed I’d be starving completely to death on Christmas Eve. Oh please, my dear neighbors please dig deep down. Sack up some munchies and bring them around. Bake me a loaf of bread. Slice up some ham meat. Bake me a cherry pie; add some ice cream for a treat. I will surely be so grateful, so happy and polite. And hey pretty lady, since you here, why just stay all night! Merry Christmas!!! Donnie Peters
