THIS DOESNT FEEL AT ALL like the book its based on, Jean-Patrick Manchettes THE PRONE GUNMAN. Its interesting how Manchettes stark and existentialist narrative seems to have been used to create a standard-issue action thriller. Of course, the trailer may just be cut this way to sell it in the States. Ill probably see it eventually. The other amusing thing to be found in this link—the comments. Even when its nothing more significant than a trailer for an action movie, people MUST behave like bratty petulant children in the comments section; this is the default mode for internet discourse.
