THIS I KNOW – Edward Snowden has been charged with the crime of espionage. He’s been called a ‘traitor’, a ‘hero’ and everything in between. Any high school sophomore knows that the U.S. has been spying on Russia and China, and that both those Communist countries have been spying on us. We hack them; they hack us back. It’s been the way of the world for decades. Edward Snowden did scarcely more than reveal what was already common knowledge. If there was anything ‘uncommon’ about his revelations, it was the extent to which the NSA was spying upon Americans and tracking their phone communications. Only time will determine the damage (if any) Edward Snowden did to our ability to preemptively disrupt terror plots. But this I know: Barack Obama represents a Bigger Threat to U.S. National Security than anything Edward Snowden has done or will do to expose Government corruption. Obama is America’s Biggest Enemy! Therefore I find myself inclined to think of the Enemy of my Enemy as my friend. In time, Snowden will be vilified or vindicated. This I know!
