THIS NA PUNISHMENT O! Lagos State has set aside today as the HORN FREE DAY. It is expected to reduce noise pollution from the use of the horn, improve road courtesy, improve lane discipline and draw motorists’ attention to the importance of road discipline and mutual respect for other road users. I thought Lagos roads would be quiet dis morning in compliance with d law of no horn but unfortunately not. I initially complied on my way to office dis morning as a law abiding citizen but I was eventually frustrated by other motorists who seemed to be ignorant of d day or perhaps decided to be adamant. Its obvious a total compliance can not be achieved in a busy city like Lagos. Were accustom to noise, were always in a haste, throwing derogatory words against one and other especially by our commercial motorists is apparently unavoidable. Lagos na wa o!
