THIS QUESTION (below) WAS POSED LAST WEEK, AND PEOPLE EXPECT MY INPUT, SO I WILL MAKE SOME COMMENTS. I HAVE NOTICED THAT HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE READ MY POSTINGS, AND MANY TELL ME THEY EVEN DOWNLOAD THE INFORMATION, BUT THEY NEVER MAKE ME KNOW THEY VISIT MY WALL. A NUMBER OF READERS ARE NOT EVEN MY FRIENDS, BECAUSE I INTENTIONALLY MADE MY WALL PUBLIC FOR ALL TO BENEFIT. SOME EVEN ASK ME IF THERE IS A BOOK FOR MY NUGGETT OF GOLD POSTINGS, AND I TELL THEM NO; I SIMPLY WRITE THEM ON THE SPOT. I SUPPOSE I SHOULD CONVERT THEM INTO A BOOK ONE DAY. KEEP ENJOYING THEM. THIS WALL IS FULL, SO ALL THOSE PEOPLE WAITING IN LINE WITH HUNDREDS OF FRIEND REQUESTS SHOULD PLEASE GO TO MY 2ND WALL (RevDr. Kisseadoo) AND BE A FRIEND THERE. THE QUESTION WAS: If you had a serious emergency in your home, and had to run out quickly to avoid possible death and destruction, and had the chance to pick only ONE IMPORTANT THING, what will you grab on your way out? Please give us your views. My comments: Well, all of you had a good point. Many of us did not express our thoughts openly. I am sure you always expect my input. I think it is best to express my personal thinking rather than nailing down an answer that would marginalize other peoples honest opinions and choices. I believe that for such questions, the first thing that hits your mind and hreat indicates what your ficus has always been in life, and where your love is really rooted in. I consider human beings as the most important asset on earth; so important that God even had to come down, live here to interact with them, set them an example, suffer for them, and finally die for them. In any event therefore, our primary focus must be on PEOPLE (wife, husband, chiild, mother, father, brother, sister, Grandpa, Grandma, friend etc.). If none of these people are in danger, then we can go for other things the Lord directs our minds and hearts to. This principle should guide us in all of our interactions & situations of needs and allocations etc., in addition to emergencies. You should also aim at getting your Bible or other essential items as some stated on my other Wall, but you can always buy a Bible, iphone or important item, but you cannot buy a person, so go for a human being first whom you can never replace. If people are not important to you, and you have not developed the heart to love and become committed to people, then when any stressful or emergency situation arises in your courtship, marriage, church, workplace, school, organization, ciommunity etc., you will go more for your safe deposit or wallet or purse with big money, or gold and diamond, passport, Greencard, jewelry box etc. I pray that the Lord will help us to become more commited to people and become people-persons in life, so that we love people and use things, instead of using people and loving things.
