THIS WILL BE MY LAST POST FOR A WHILE, SO I HOPE YOU DON’T TAKE THESE WORDS OUT OF CONTEXT AND READ INTO THEM WHAT ISN’T THERE. YOU HAVE A DECISION TO MAKE AND SO DO I AND I HOPE WE MAKE THE RIGHT ONE’S FOR THE SAKE OF THIS CITY AND ITS FUTURE GENERATIONS. The multi-cultural city of Stoke-on-Trent has an area of 36 square miles, with a population of a quarter of a million and according to an article in the Sentinel in 2012, has had a population increase of 3.5% since 2001. While recently Cllr Pervez claimed that the objective of the council was to increase the population of the city from approximately a quarter of a million to 750,000 within the next 30 years. Therefore, is mass immigration a conspiracy that’s being forced upon us? In this city 25,000 Stokies left the area between 2001 and 2011, either moving to other parts of the country or emigrating to warmer climates and were mainly replace by migrants. This immigration policy and the breeding rates of the imported cultures, means that Stokies are becoming the minority and this can be clearly seen in the populace ratio of our schools. The government’s policy is that immigration is good for the economy. But is it? Andrew Neather – speechwriter for Blair, Straw and Blunkett wrote an article in 2009 and stated: Immigration didn’t just happen; it was a deliberate policy of ministers from 2000 to open up the UK to mass immigration. Although this was against public opinion! The BBC and other media sources attitude to immigration was a major factor of this policy and not airing the effects on community’s, demonstrated that they supported it then and continue to do so now. So was mass immigration implemented to replace those white British leaving the country and to maintain the volume of votes cast or was there a more sinister reason? The increase in the security of our borders and the policing of the land has cost the country dear during this process and will continue to do so until the issue of IS and other radicals is sorted. The increase of immigrants has also kept wages at a low level; with the filling of jobs of low earnings like cleaners and others as a significant factor. While all the time the cost of living continues to rise. There has also been a significant increase in benefits going abroad, which results in a transfer of the country’s wealth increasing the wealth of other countries. Austerity has been forced on the people through the acts of unscrupulous bankers and corrupt corporations. Politicians and other representatives haven’t been squeaky clean either and a number have been found out to have over claimed on their expenses and through all this, the low earners and those on benefits have been forced to foot the bill for their illegal acts. And during this process of forced austerity, bankers, politicians, councillors and corporate executives have all received an increase in pay while the government have also given the super rich a £100,000 tax bonus for their sins! So is this democracy in action? The white voting population has declined over a number of years because of voter’s apathy and the condemnation of our political process and representatives. Being ignored by those who are supposed to represent you has that effect and Stoke-on-Trent City Council have ignored the populace for decades and I feel it’s about time we changed our habits for a number of reasons. Our heritage is being destroyed on a number of fronts in this city, with the Victoria Ground being of a main concern to me and it should be to you! The desecration of the memory of the Fenton 498 on the Great War memorial in Fenton Town Hall is another area of concern. However, the non nationals won’t have any link or association to heritage sites such as these and therefore, can’t be bothered if they’re preserved or not. It’s therefore imperative that the indigenous residents of this city make a stand for their future generations and support the preservation of such sites. Because neither our representatives nor the foreign imports will save it for you!
