THOUGHT FOR TODAY You can change your world by changing your words. Proverbs 18:21 says death and life are in the power of the tongue.This implies that you can actually chart the course of your life with your tongue because it can make or break you. Ecclesiastics 5:2 says be not rash with your tongue and let not your heart be hasty to utter a word before God. 1 Thessalonians 4:11 says study to be quiet; and Isaiah 30:15 says in quietness and confidence shall be your strength. Jesus was really the wisdom of God. He knew when to talk and when to be quiet. It is better to remain silent at the risk of being thought a fool, than to talk and remove all doubt of it. People can misquote your words and actions but they cannot misquote your silence. No wonder He is the prince of peace. He said in Jn 14:27, my peace i give to you and my peace i leave with u. Remember, Peace is not the absence of a problem but the power of control, hence Jesus could speak and calmly too when the boat was rocking.
