THURSDAY Recipe: LUMPIANG UBOD (10 photos) LUMPIANG UBOD INGREDIENTS: 1 kilo heart of palm ( UBOD ) 250 grams mince chicken 250 grams chopped peeled shrimp 1/2 cup chopped roasted peanuts 1 bulb romaine lettuce 1 tablespoon dark mushroom soy sauce 1 tablespoon kikkomann soy sauce ( Japanese soy sauce) 1/2 cup potato starch 10grams mince garlic 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon white pepper 4 pcs. Crepe( fresh lumpia wrapper 1 pc. Chopped white onion 2tablespoon cooking oil PROCEDURE: 1. Cut into julienne heart of palm ( UBOD) soaked into hot water in a few minute s then strain and set aside. 2. Sauté garlic,onion, chicken, shrimp, UBOD until tender,season with salt,pepper, stain and set aside. CREPE PREPARATION/ FRESH LUMPIA WRAPPER: 1/2 liter fresh 3 pcs. Beaten eggs 125grams all purpose flour 1/2 pc. White onion 1/4 cup cooking oil PROCEDURE: 1. Combine into mixing bowl egg,milk,flour,salt,white pepper mixing well Then strain and set aside. 2. Have ready non-stick frying pan,brush with oil pour the mixture of milk,flour,egg, turn once until done. HOW TO PREPARE THE LUMPIA SAUCE: 1. Caramelize the brown sugar add water allow to boil pour soy sauce,dark mushroom soy sauce ,thickened with slurry potato starch add mince garlic then place on sauce container and serve.
