TIL Desk/Lucknow-Lucknow Electricity Supply Administration is updating its billing software to generate bills as per the new tariff rates. The difference in the bill amount will be charged as arrears from the consumers once the updated software gets functional. The new tariff has come into effect from October 12 in Lucknow. To increase revenue, new slabs of consumption have been introduced. Up till October 12, domestic consumers using up to 200 units per month were charged Rs 4 per unit but under the new tariff, domestic consumers using up to 150 units per month will be charged Rs 4 per unit.
