TIME & CHANCE An opportunity you do not prepare for is an - TopicsExpress

TIME & CHANCE An opportunity you do not prepare for is an opportunity already lost. There are things that come your way leading up to an opportunity that you need to take cognizance of. If you simply ignore them, you are courting trouble because you will miss out on information/knowledge necessary to make the best of your next opportunity. Knowledge is Power. The power necessary to aptly wield the opportunity is therefore lost when you do not pay attention to the necessary details beforehand. Before you build a house, you at least need to do a little research about building/architecture. No one buys a microwave without a manual - except of course you are my best-friend (Terhemba Ahile no offense). God will not bless you with five million dollars (for those of you who secretly pray for such - you know yourselves, LOL) if He knows that amount of cash will simply destroy you. He loves you way too much to let that happen. The miracle you have been waiting for may simply elude you because you are not fit to handle such. With TIME, it is possible to build the capacity to properly take advantage of such opportunities. Have you ever wondered why you burned through certain amounts of money with nothing to show for it shortly after. My friend, the things you require to become a powerhouse in your field are right in front of you. Let line be upon line and precept be upon precept. Make use of the things God has already put in your hands (e.g. the present job you cant simply wait to get out of, the book of your shelf that has more unturned pages than a brand new KJV bible - SIC). Take a look at what you have. Write down a list of your present assets, they may be few but last time I checked David brought down a giant with a sling and a stone. The cards are in your hands, get off your behind! (excuse my Latin) I love this saying, Destiny is everything youre made of, hiding behind what youre most afraid of. Face your fears! If you are too afraid go and download Irapada or one of those Yoruba movies with heavy juju inside. Watch it. I got over my fear (the specifics of which are completely none of your business) by watching CNN for a whole day. When I saw all those people dying of hunger, stray bullets, bomb blasts etc. I realized that there were worse things in the world than writing a crappy novel. (Yes, that was it by the way). Dont let the fear of failure keep you from trying. Take a leap of faith and pave our way to glory. Remember, God is able to do exceedingly abundantly, above all you can ask think or imagine ACCORDING TO THE POWER AT WORK IN YOU (Ephesians 3:20). Study to show yourself approved because knowledge is never lost but opportunity can. Read books, go for seminars, take a class on the most ridiculous things, and yes read your Bible! Yes, I said it! SUE ME! You are Gods creation. The Bible is Gods blueprint for your life. He knows whats best for you. If you think thats irrelevant then you are no different from a person who buys a microwave without a manual (once again, Terhemba no offense - LOL). Pay attention to the Holy Spirit, let Him lead you, so that in the fullness of time when TIME and CHANCE collides, you will use a peanut to grow a plantation! Like I always say, Rome wasnt built in a day, but the labourers werent sleepping either. Get to work because you are worth it... your future awaits and by Gods grace, you will not be your own undoing. God bless. - Anita O. Edwards (President, Tribe Nation)
