TIME SENSITIVE PHILANTHROPIC OPPORTUNITY FOR REGION 2! I just received a call from (national) Director of Programming (and former Region 2 CRD) Leisa Lowery. The Foundation still has 6 Special Impact Grants to award and she was hoping some chapters in Region 2 might be interested. This is a Read>Lead>Achieve grant for getting books into the community. The thing is, as soon as 100 grants are approved, the window closes, so if you are interested you need to move fast - like tonight!! So far, most of the approved grants are to alumnae clubs and she would love to see some chapters take this challenge. If you dont have an existing relationship with a school, you can enter TBD in that field. This is a great opportunity to stand out among all the chapters in the US and Canada. Time is short, but - but if you can make this happen, it would be spectacular!
