TIS THE SEASON TO RANT!!! So, Im still waiting for my pc to return from repairs and have to drive to my pops place to use his laptop. As I type, pop is in the other room watching Dr. Phil.......I can hear the show, and I just gotta say, Dr. Phil would need three promotions to attain the moron designation.....His Cracker-Barrel brand of pseudo-analytical pap blunts, distorts, and oversimplifies with gross generalizations, and painful, sloppy-broad-brush, band-aid remedies that do nothing, at the end of the day, but encourage confused people to continue down the two-lane road of stoic frustration and bite-sized expectations; buying into their own mediocrity, one painfully worn slogan at a time. Add to that Phils General-Dollar-Store wit, and aw-shucks colloquialisms, and youve got yourself one big ol heapin pile of steamy, tightly-coiled, high-test horse-hooey; the kind of useless, sentimental, catch-phrase sloganeering that wouldnt look out of place boldly embossed upon a get-well greeting-card for the developmentally-disabled. I think his advice is beyond stupid, and Id rather hear nails on chalkboard through a bullhorn, rather than listen to one more moment of Phils insipid, cookie-cutter, politically correct, self-help shuck & jive.......As far as annoying goes, its a two-horse race between Dr. Phil and Dave Freakin Ramsey...People deserve better! Perhaps when Obama-Care is fully implemented, we will see a higher grade of daytime-tv-faux-shrink .........Oh, uh Murry Christmas and thangs!
