TJ Moe hasnt missed a football game since the 6th grade...until last year when after all his hard work, #1 HS player in the State of MO, Gatorade Player of the year, all Big 12, best wide receiver at the combine, signed with the NFL New England Patriots, then the first week of the camp, it happened what most would call a career ending injury, a completely ruptured Achilles. How bad is that, I can tell you, I’ve done it and IT’S BAD! Most don’t come back. He would miss at least one full year of football. TJ had the option to recover and train at New England but he chose to come back to O’Fallon and rehab with Dave Meers at Excel Sports and Physical Therapy and train with Excel Training in St. Peters. The Patriots kept him on injured reserve but when free agency came available he was cut. All this time TJ was working unbelievably hard to get back to make a spot on the Patriots roster, anyone else would have given up hope after being cut but not him. He continue to work even harder and knew there was a place for him in the NFL. His work ethic is 2nd to none, every day he trains to his fullest potential, always competing against anyone who trains with him, always open to let others train alongside, but of course showing them that they can’t beat him at any of the drills. This competitive fire is what propelled him to a tryout with the St. Louis Rams yesterday. I knew he was ready, I told him he was ready, just go out and show them that your back! And he did by getting immediately signed with the Rams for a one year contract. He still has to make the team as does everyone but I know that once they see what he can do there is no doubt he will be a RAM this next season and years to come. Join me in congratulating him on his road to GREATNESS. John Schwepker, Excel Training
