Today is Song 4 of my five day music challenge, set by Duncan Borrowman Today its IQ the only band Ive seen more times than Genesis, and easily the best of todays modern era prog IMHO. And Ill be off to see them again a week Saturday with Richard Elmer for what must be our 10,000th IQ Xmas gig! Hard to pick one song as unusually IQ have been consistently excellent throughout their career, and arguably their last two albums (Nos 10 & 11) are their best work to date, an achievement very few bands manage. But that said, I have gone for this old song as its another live foot stomping head banger with a great rock ending for those who just cant take all this prog! Today I nominate my old political friend and fellow IQ fan Richard Ormerod to take up the challenge of playing one song per day for the next five days and to choose a new victim each day. Im sure well get some more great prog from him and possibly another IQ track?
