TODAYS DISCUSSION: This story touched me so much and I said I must share it with members of this group. In 1961, Leonid Rogozov, aged 27, was the only surgeon in the Soviet Antarctic Expedition. He felt severe pain in the stomach only to discover that his appendix was inflamed and could burst anytime. With assistance from a meteorogist and an engineer, he operated himself and removed the appendix. What do we learn from this mans act that can help push us to another level?
