TONITE !!!!!! in New York’s LOWER EAST SIDE , the best and brightest of New York’s underground arts & music scene gather for COLLAGE: live art show. The brain child of artist/filmmaker, Savior Elmundo, COLLAGE seeks to revive the artistic air that intoxicated New York’s Lower East Side and West Village during the days of early hip-hop and neo-expressionist Jean-Michel Basquiat. Offering a forum for aspiring artists, musicians, and academics, COLLAGE nurtures the cross-pollination of perspectives across a myriad of disciplines personified by its patrons. Each week D.L restaurant/lounge/roof top is curated in admiration of an artistic theme, welcoming painters to set up their easels and paint live in tribute of an artist or era. The accompanying DJ mixes and musical performances add to the ambiance transforming the restaurant/lounge Roof tp into an installation in it of itself recalling the New York 70s & 80s arts movement.
