TOP SECRET: I graduated from MSHS in 1974, most of the time leading up that point was a sea of blurred faces and relationships, the long and the short of them. I was so naive, but optimistic, because my blind grandmother prayed for me nightly, made me believe that all things are possible, if you just believe. She would always say, He has all the power in his hands. I still believe that to this very day, because I know the Lord still has great things for me to do. In 1976, I traded my big afro, bell bottom jeans,stack heels for U.S Army OD green uniform and combat boots. I was re-socialized, indoctrinated and re-engineered. It taught me about important things like rolling my socks, underwear and tee-shirts the same length. But what they were really teaching was value, respect, accountability, responsibility personal courage. By now you if you have taking the time to read all of this. You are probably asking , what is your point dude? Well, we are so focused on the unpleasant things we remember in our past lives, that we fell to see wonderful lessons they teach us.We use that as an excuse not to get the know, find value and experience the new person we all have become. Planning this Reunion, I have discovered the most wonderful, beautiful, kind, generous people I have ever met.
