TOURING GUITARISTS: I am need of a fairly simple, yet awesome high-gain distortion pedal which can cope with many various different qualities of amp heads and replicate clarity well with a 7-string guitar playing fairly rapid grind/thrash. Ive got one but its very complex with gain/eq dials over the shop and doesnt sound great - not bad - but not good enough. Obviously sometimes I cant take my head with me all over the place so what you guys suggest in terms of disto-pedals? TA :
