For those of you with a journalistic background, media streak, or just a serious interest in journalism/media, heres an opportunity for you! WHAT: Veterans History Project (VHP) On Saturday, June 28th, the Veterans History Project is providing an opportunity for our Veterans to participate in the Veterans History Project. loc.gov/vets/ The Veterans participating on this day are all Vietnam Combat Veterans who have agreed to share their stories for the first time publicly. This is a very unique opportunity and one where your participation will be greatly appreciated. VHP is seeking a minimum of 10 Volunteers to assist in taping and interviewing the Vietnam Veterans. Theyll provide equipment, training, and will be onsite for supervision. *NOTE: This is not a TR event* When: Saturday, June 28th Time: 8:30am-3:00pm (I would love all day but will work with schedules to get the entire day covered) Where: DC VA Medical Center (50 Irving St, NW Washington, DC 20422) What: Assisting with taping and interviewing Veterans Please have any interested participants contact Terra Zvara, via phone or email no later than 4:00pm Wednesday, June 25th.
