TRAFFIC GUIDANCE - RENFREW This Saturday, August 10, the Provincial Grand Black Chapter of Scotland will be holding a parade within Renfrew town centre. This parade will consist of approximately 3000 participants and over 40 bands. As a result, there will be significant traffic congestion within Renfrew town centre and in the vicinity of Robertson Park. The parade is scheduled to leave Robertson Park at 12.15pm. The planned route will travel from Robertson Park onto Craigielea Road, Porterfield Road, Paisley Road, Hairst Street, High Street, before finishing on Old Govan Road. There will be parking restrictions on Paisley Road (near to Robertson Park) from 7am-4pm and Old Govan Road will be closed for the duration of the event. The peak time for any disruption will be between 10am and 3pm. There will be a traffic management plan in place but delays are likely.
