TRAFFIC & TRANSPORT FOR EVENTS ON SATURDAY 26 APRIL A-LEAGUE SEMI FINAL: Western Sydney Wanderers v Central Coast Mariners at Pirtek Stadium, Parramatta at 6:30pm. • All tickets to the game include travel on public transport to and from the stadium on train services (bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst and Dungog stations), regular bus services across Sydney, Sydney Ferries and Light Rail services. • Free shuttle bus services to Pirtek Stadium will leave Argyle Street near Parramatta Station from 4:45pm. RANDWICK RACES – Stakes Day at Royal Randwick Racecourse • The first race is at 12:30pm and the last race is at 4:45pm. • Express buses (Route 32) will run to the racecourse from Eddy Avenue at Central between 10am and 1:45pm. CARAVAN, CAMPING RV AND HOLIDAY SUPERSHOW at Rosehill Racecourse from 10am until 5pm. • A free shuttle bus will operate between the Loop Bus Stop on Darcy Street at Parramatta Station, Parramatta Wharf and the Supershow every 30 minutes from 9:30am until 5:30pm. • The closest train station is Rosehill on the T6 Carlingford Line but weekend trackwork will affect the City Circle, T2 Airport, Inner West & South Line and T3 Bankstown Line. • Anyone driving to the show should expect delays and enter the car park via Unwin Street. Return services run every hour between 12:05pm and 6:05pm from the Cockatoo Island Wharf. • Sydney Ferries weekend services are very popular so plan ahead and have a back up plan if ferry services reach capacity. • The Biennale Ferry (operated by Captain Cook Cruises) will also operate a direct service to Cockatoo Island from Wharf 6. No trains will stop at High Street between 8am Saturday and 6am Sunday. • Extra trains will also leave Central for Newcastle at 7:14am, 8:10am and 9:10am, with extra return services leaving Newcastle at 9:37pm, 10:30pm, 11:31pm and 12:30am. An extra train back to Gosford will depart Newcastle at 1:41am (Sunday) • Special event buses to the festival will leave Newcastle Station between 8am and 3pm and Broadmeadow Station between 9am and 3pm. Return services leave Maitland for Newcastle Station only from 6pm. • Return bus services will also operate from Sydney, the Central Coast, Taree, Forster, Port Stephens and the Hunter Valley and can be pre-purchased.
