TRAP ALERT AGAIN! Be real careful up by the dam, and up on Foothill and Palomino Valley, and Rhuenstroth. Well, everywhere! This is getting to be daily occurrence. Insanity. I just got this from a Facebook friend. My husband was walking up by the dam here in gardnerville was back about 3 miles and got his foot snared in a wire trap and it took him down. It was right along the trail. Thank got it wasnt the metal snap traps. He found 3 more wire snares all along the trail and a couple claw ones off. Thank god he is ok besides his foot hurting and thank god he didnt have the dogs which he usually takes. Its bs that we cant even hike along the river with out being afraid!
