[TROGIR WILL ALLOW PARTICIPANTS AND GUESTS OF “BATTLE OF THE NATIONS”-2014 ENJOY ATMOSPHERE OF THE MIDDLE AGES] Organizers of Battle of the Nations-2014 have chosen this Croatian town to hold the fifth anniversary World Championship in HMB not accidentally. Trogir is a real medieval town! The central historical part of Trogir (Old Town) is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. This part of the town is situated on an island. You can see there medieval walls and monumental cathedral of the XIIIth century built in the Romanesque style. Trogir is also called a museum town, as the historical part of the town is a unique gathering of palaces, temples, towers, ancient buildings. There you can visit many places that have the spirit of the Middle Ages, keep the atmosphere of the time. Among them are the Cathedral of St. Lawrence (XIII-XVI cc.), North Gates (XVII c.), City Walls (XIV-XV cc.), Princes Palace (XIII c.) and many others. One of the most interesting places in Trogir is the Kamerlengo Fortress (XV c.). It will host Battle of the Nations-2014. All the details about the location of attractions, routes and facilities of Trogir can be found on the town map. The maps are available at every tourist office that can be found throughout the town. The guests of the festival will be offered a lot of activities to spend time between the battles. Music groups will play authentic medieval music; fire shows, medieval dances, performances and numerous master classes will be offered to the audience.
