TTSHs Sports Medicine & Surgery Clinic held a Managing Dance Injuries Workshop on Saturday 29 Nov 2014. The workshop garnered an encouraging response from dancers in the local dance community. Tan Tock Seng Hospital is working with the National Arts Council (NAC) to develop Dance Medicine in Singapore, through a series of pilot workshops aimed at educating both healthcare professionals and dancers on injury management, prevention and rehabilitation. The new premises of the Sports Medicine & Surgery Clinic was also unveiled on the day. Located at B1C, the new sports clinic shared its premises with the Pain Management Clinic. The clinic has 12 rooms in all now, compared to 6 before. The new Gym is also four times bigger than the old one!
