TUESDAY TRIVIA ANSWER Answer: Jacob was 90 – 97 years old (Genesis 28:10 and 31:38) He was 77 when he left Beer-sheba after spending 20 years there! How old will we be before we give in and prevail in the blessings God has for us? Many of us wrestle with things in life! If you were to look at Jacob’s life one would conclude that he was quite a character. Jacob schemed and connived his way into many things. He got his brother’s birth right with a bowl of bean, his father blessed him after being tricked and lied to by Jacob and there are a number of other things Jacob did. What we should take note of is that all along God was trying to bless Jacob. What does this mean? Simply that Jacob had been wrestling with God and God’s plan for his life all along. Have we not planned to do things that seem good to us but may not be in the will of God for our lives? Genesis 32:24-28 Prayer ~ Lord let us be happy in your blessings that you have for us.
