TV Alert: This Thursday the Dr. Phil show will air a segment featuring a 12-year-old with Tourettes. TSA reached out to the show once we became aware that it was planning a TS-related story, and offered our medical experts as well as our assistance in ensuring the segment was factual. While we were not taken up on the offer, we hope the program portrays Tourette Syndrome in a factual and positive light as this is an opportunity to educate the shows viewership. We are also actively following up in an effort to correct some of the outdated information on the Dr. Phil website regarding TS.
