TWO BODIES DID YOU KNOW WE HAVE TWO BODIES? IF YOU WERE NOT ABLE TO ANSWER YES TO THAT QUESTION, THEN GOD WANTS TO TEACH YOU ABOUT YOUR TWO BODIES. LETS LISTEN, AS OUR FATHER TAKES US INTO HIS WORD TO TEACH US ABOUT OUR TWO BODIES. FATHER, IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS, PLEASE OPEN OUR SPIRITUAL EYES, AND EARS, SO THAT WE MAY LEARN ABOUT OUR TWO BODIES. MATTHEW CHAPTER 10 28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. JESUS SAID, IT IS IMPORTANT FOR US TO KNOW AND RESPECT OUR FATHER, BECAUSE HE IS THE ONE WHO HOLDS ENTERNITY IN HIS HANDS. JESUS IS ALSO POINTING OUT OUR TWO BODIES, AND TELLING US THAT WHAT HAPPENS TO THE FLESH IS NOT IMPORTANT, IT IS WHAT HAPPENS TO THE SOUL THAT MATTERS. THIS WORD FEAR DOES NOT MEAN WE ARE TO BE AFRAID OF GOD, IT MEANS WE ARE TO LOVE AND RESPECT HIM. HE IS OUR FATHER. HE IS THE ONE WHO MADE US, AND GAVE US LIFE. REVELATION CHAPTER 1 10 I was in the Spirit on the Lords day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, 11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. PLEASE NOTE THAT HE SAID HE WAS IN THE SPIRIT, MEANING HE WAS IN HIS SPIRITUAL BODY, NOT IN THE FLESH, MEANING HIS FLESH BODY. REVELATION CHAPTER 4 1 ¶ After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. 2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. JESUS IS SHOWING US, THAT WE WILL NOT BE IN OUR FLESH BODIES WHEN WE ARE WITH GOD IN THAT SPIRITUAL RELM. REVELATION CHAPTER 20 1 ¶ And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, 3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark(FALSE TEACHING) upon their foreheads,(IN THEIR MINDS, YOUR MIND IS WHAT IS IN YOUR FOREHEAD) or in their hands;(MEANING TO HELP GET THE WORD OUT.THESE, ARE THOSE, WHO WERE NOT SPREADING FALSE TEACHING.) and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead(SPIRITUAL DEAD. THESE, ARE THOSE, WHO BELIEVED THE FALSE TEACHERS.) lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. WE MUST UNDERSTAND THAT THE PURPOSE OF JESUS DEATH WAS NOT TO RESURRECT OUR FLESH BODY, IT WAS FOR OUR SOUL, OR SPIRITUAL BODY, TO BE RESURRECTED. WHEN WE STEP OUT OF OUR FLESH BODY THAT IS OUR RESURRECTION. THE QUESTION THEN BECOMES, WHAT SHAPE WILL YOUR SOUL BE IN WHEN YOU STEP OUT OF THE FLESH? IF YOU STEP OUT WITH A MORTAL SOUL, THAT MEANS THE SECOND DEATH HAS POWER OVER YOU. THIS IS WHY IT IS SO IMPORTANT TO KNOW GODS TRUTH, AND TO REPENT EVERYDAY, SO THAT WE MAY TAKE PART IN THE FIRST RESURRECTION. JOHN CHAPTER 4 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. ROMANS CHAPTER 8 1 ¶ There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 ¶ And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. 12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. I CORINTHIANS CHAPTER 15 1 ¶ Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: 6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. 7 After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. 8 And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. 9 For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. 11 Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed. 12 ¶ Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: 14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. 15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. 16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: 17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. 18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. 19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. 20 ¶ But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. 21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. HEBREWS CHAPTER 9 27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: 28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. I CORINTHIANS CHAPTER 15 22 For as in Adam(MANKIND, OR THE FLESH) all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christs at his coming. REVELATION CHAPTER 20 6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. I CORINTHIANS CHAPTER 15 24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. 28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. 29 Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead? 30 And why stand we in jeopardy every hour? 31 I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily. 32 If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die. 33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners. 34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame. 35 ¶ But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come? ECCLESIASTES CHAPTER 12 7 Then shall the dust(THE FLESH BODY) return to the earth as it was: and the spirit(THE SPIRITUAL BODY) shall return unto God who gave it. I CORINTHIANS CHAPTER 15 36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die: 37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain: 38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body. GENESIS CHAPTER 2 7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. GOD IS TELLING US, THAT THIS FLESH, IS JUST A SHELL, AND HE BUILT IT FROM THE DUST OF THE GROUND; AND THEN HE PLACES OUR SOUL, OR SPIRITUAL BODY, IN SIDE OF IT. I CORINTHIANS CHAPTER 15 39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. 40 There are also celestial bodies,( SOUL,OR SPIRITUAL BODIES) and bodies terrestrial:( OF THE EARTH, OR FLESH BODIES) but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. 41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory. 42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. (THE SPIRITUALY DEAD) It is sown in corruption;(THE FLESH IS CORRUPT) it is raised in incorruption:(THE SPIRITUAL BODY IS PERFECT, AND REMAINS THE SAME AS GOD MADE IT FROM THE VERY BEGINNING.) 43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power; 44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. 46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. 47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. 48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. 49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. GENESIS CHAPTER 1 26 ¶ And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. JOHN CHAPTER 3 1 ¶ There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: 2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. 3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again,(FROM ABOVE) he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mothers womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. AGAIN JESUS IS POINTING OUT THAT WE HAVE TWO BODIES. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.(FROM ABOVE) 8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. 9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? 10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? 11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. 12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? 13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. I CORINTHIANS CHAPTER 15 50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51 ¶ Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, MATTHEW CHAPTER 16 28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. I CORINTHIANS CHAPTER 15 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead(SPIRITUALY DEAD) shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. THIS IS THE DEATH OF THE FLESH, AND THE RESURRECTION OF THE SOUL. MATTHEW CHAPTER 17 1 ¶ And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, 2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. I THESSALONIANS CHAPTER 4 13 ¶ But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. ALL THOSE WHO HAVE ALREADY STEPED OUT OF THE FLESH, ARE WITH GOD. ONLY THE FLESH REMAINS BEHIND, OUR SOUL RETURNS TO GOD. I CORINTHIANS CHAPTER 15 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? I PETER CHAPTER 4 1 ¶ Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; 2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. 3 For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: 4 ¶ Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you: 5 Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead. 6 For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit. MATTHEW CHAPTER 26 41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. IT IS MY PRAYER THAT THIS STUDY HAS GIVEN YOU A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF OUR TWO BODIES. I ALWAYS LEARN SO MUCH FROM FATHER AS HE GUIDES ME THROUGH THESE STUDIES. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SHARE THEM WITH ANYONE YOU FEEL THEY WILL HELP, AS THAT IS THE PERPOSE FOR WITCH GOD PUTS THEM TOGETHER. MAY GOD BLESS YOUR UNDERSTANDING EACH AND EVERY DAY, AS YOU SEEK HIS TRUTH. I SEND OUT MUCH LOVE TO ALL OF YOU FROM PASTOR DEIRDRE
