TWO SECRETS TO BIBLICAL TIMEKEEPING, Discerning Prophecy, Daniels Timeline, Timing of the Greater Exodus and Great Tribulation: I have known much of the following for 7 to 14 years. We are approaching the midnight hour and hopefully many of you out there will be able to learn what is needed to sharpen your discernment. In order to understand timing of Biblical events, FIRST, ONE VERY IMPORTANT KEY is to know that at the creation of Adam, the Biblical months started in what we know today as the fall season. That month, in Hebrew, is the month of Tishri; corresponding to September-October on the Gregorian calendar. I will point this out shortly since some of you have asked about it. THE SECOND KEY to correctly discerning Biblical timekeeping is to know that when the Hebrews became the nation of Israel, the beginning of the Biblical months started in what is, and was, the spring season. That month, in Hebrew, is the month of Nisan; corresponding to March-April on the Gregorian calendar. Anyone telling you otherwise - that the the Jewish year begins in Tishri, is greatly mistaken and entangled in traditions which will throw them off in Biblical Timekeeping. Exodus 12:1-2 is the SECOND KEY AND A FOUNDATION verse that defines when to begin the Biblical year. This was when the Hebrews became the nation Israel. It is written, And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you. The timing of this event is the first Passover for the Israelites right before they left the land of Egypt in the spring season. For a detailed eight page teaching on this topic see the following page: SolomonsPorch.TV/Teachings/TheBullOfAbib.aspx THE FIRST KEY is deciphering that Adam was created on Tishri one. In order to do this, you have to know the Hebrew behind the first word of the Book of Genesis. Furthermore, you have to have a greater depth of insight in the Torah about Hebrew word pictures. To learn in depth meaning of Hebrew word pictures I recommend the following references: Look for Beth Tikkun Publishing and Hebrew for Christians under Learn Hebrew on the following page menu. SolomonsPorch.TV/Resources.aspx Additional resources for learning Hebrew are here in the book store. Look under the Hebrew section: SolomonsPorch.TV/AmazonLibraryAndStore.aspx I will quickly give you the key insight that suggests Adams creation on Tishri 1. The first Hebrew word in Genesis translates In the beginning which is the Hebrew word of, בראשית, pronounced bereshit. When these same exact Hebrew letters are re-arranged as such, א בתשרי, it is pronounced aleph bTishri. A direct translation of this means, on the 1st of Tishri. This hint is more symbolic than technical. In the beginning was the first day. However, Adam was created on the sixth day. If we want to be technical about this, we could say that Adam was created on Tishri 6. However, ancient Rabbis view Tishri 1 as the date of the creation of Adam. Nevertheless, Adam was created in the month of Tishri, which makes Tishri the beginning of the year. One symbolic reason the earth appears to begin to die in the fall is because of this very reason that Adam fell in the timing of fall. Also, a day with The LORD is a thousand years and a thousand years as a day. Who is to not say that Adam may have been created in the 6,000th year after In the beginning? A discussion of this is beyond the scope of this note. Whenever you read the Scriptures, before Israel became a nation, you must begin the order of months from Tishri and not Nisan. When the Hebrews became a nation at the Exodus, The LORD God (Yahuah Elohim) advanced the year forward by six months. In essence, this was a new beginning from the fall of Adam. As a result of this interchange, the months of Nisan and Tishri are like mirror images of each other. Once this is understood, timing of events will become more clear and their prophetic significance will be revealed. For example, Messiah arose on the Third Day or third day in a sequence of days on the 17th of the month of Nisan. The Ark came to rest on the 17th of the 7th month (Genesis 8:4) and it was on the 17th of the month of Sivan (third month) that the Torah was spoken (Exodus 19:1, 19:16). In Noahs time, the 7th month was really the month of Nisan because the year began in Tishri instead of Nisan, and therefore, the Ark rested on Nisan 17, the same month and day that Messiah rose from the grave. These are profound facts in light of Messiahs crucifixion. The following patterns are reveal because of the mirror image of the months of Tishri and Nisan: ► Nisan 1 (Biblical New Year) and Tishri 1 (Feast of Trumpets) parallel and overlap each other. ► Nisan 10 (Lamb Day) and Tishri 10 (Day of Atonement) do the same. ► Nisan 15 (Passover and 1st Day of Feast of Unleavened Bread) and Tishri 15 (1st Day of Feast of Tabernacles) mirror each other. ► Nisan 21 and Tishri 21 are both the last days (7th Day) of a Feast. ► Nisan 22 mirrors Tishri 22. Nisan 22 is Firstfruits and Tishri 22 is the regarded as the 8th Day, after the Feast of Tabernacles. I believe in order to understand Daniels Timeline and get a correct reading precisely to the year of Messiah taking His throne in Jerusalem, you have to be aware of this switcharoo that occurred when Israel became a nation. At least this is one key. Remember, truth in the Scriptures are revealed to the extent one is willing to follow them. Anyone can study all they want, love The LORD all they want, love Israel all they want, give to the poor all they want, sing and praise all they want, meditate all they want - but, if they do not step forward to keep the appointed times which are the Feasts and Sabbaths, they will not discern Biblical Timekeeping to its fullness.
