TWO STEWARDESSES REQUIRED ON A 43M MOTOR YACHT (PRIVATE) YACHT INFORMATION: A 43m motor yacht private is currently searching for two stewardesses to join their crew of 7 Candidates need to be between the ages of 21 and 32 years old (mature and responsible). Must have strong hospitality experience as a stewardess on a luxury yacht of similar size or have done some form of super yacht stewardess training. Both stewardesses need to be highly motivated, outgoing, responsible individuals that are looking for long term employment. MUST NOT SMOKE, pass drug tests and back ground checks. Duties include interior organization, cleaning, service, and guest relations. Must possess related skills and experience. Due to size of crew must be willing and to assist on deck. The vessels spends extensive time at anchor in remote areas. Candidates must be outdoor oriented and/or able to entertain themselves in this environment. This yacht does not tolerate excessive drinking and partying. Looking for candidates who will fit in with the team, is quick to learn, hard worker, have a positive attitude, be dedicated to her work and have an excellent eye for detail. The Chief stew runs the yacht in a very systematic manner and has extremely high standards there are procedures and systems in place for all interior tasks. Very busy yacht, lots of owner trips. Basic medical covered and one flight home per year is provided. NOTE: The yacht would prefer to day work potential employees to determine work ethic, skills, crew dynamics and attitude prior to offering full time employment. EXTRA INFORMATION ON THE YACHT: The yacht tows a 35’ fishing tender. We operate a professional yet less formal program - high level of service, but no black/whites. Due to small size of crew everyone must be a team player willing to assist wherever needed. This is an opportunity to gain sea time and invaluable knowledge on the interior, on deck (lines, fenders, tow/untow, tender driving) and on the bridge (all crew are part of the watch rotation and are required to learn basic navigation skills and rules of the road). This is a very unique program and requires crew to be interested and enthusiastic about yachting in general and a willingness to learn all aspects. As for the interior duties the current two stews work as equals (they had similar levels of experience when hired and developed a shared/rotational duties program). Based on experience of incoming stews this will need to be adjusted. The yacht has one stew leaving on the 1st November Nov 1 and the other stew will stay through Dec 15 so they are available to train and familiarize new crew member (s) with the program. ITINERARY: Cairns, Brisbane, Sydney then East Coast Australia, Kimberley Coast, Indonesia, Southeast Asia, Alaska, West Coast USA QUALIFICATIONS: NON SMOKING – A MUST, STCW95, ENG 1 MEDICAL, B1/B2 (or ability to obtain one) No minimal dietary requirements, No tattoos; small tattoos acceptable START DATE: Immediate start EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full Time SALARY: Salary will be paid in USD per month and will be based on experience.
