TWO THINGS: 1st. one is IMPORTANT, 2nd. one is just for FUN 1. It is important to understand that doing the work we do, were at a risk every day for getting bitten, scratched, or injured in some other way. Yesterday I could have lost a part of my nose, but luckily I was fast enough to avoid the bite, but there were cases where I took a very painful bite... one really close to my eye, one poked a hole through my nail, a couple in my arms that really affected my ability to work. Annie Harts story (below) is something I consider every time I am out there, and because of it I am more cautious, I developed safer techniques, and I hope I will never have to endure what Annie did. Please read the article, and just think about YOUR SAFETY next time you see an animal in need. I would never want anyone to get hurt while trying to help an animal... it can get seriously dangerous out there. 2.
