Table Table - Caernarfon The Table Table restaurant is a side shoot to the Premier Inn where guests have their breakfast etc. I dont normally have much of a hunger first thing in the morning, preferring to consume my cooked breakfasts around 11am. Nevertheless the opportunity to review a breakfast was too tempting although expectations on the quality remained low. The offerings include a choice of eggs, and I also declined mushroom and tomatoes. Reading the glossy menu it stated its bacon was grilled for extra crispiness. Im not sure about being crispy as it had the texture and taste of a leather insole. Since I last ate here thankfully someone in the sausage procurement department of Premier Inn HQ has done away with the Pork & Herb sausages, as frankly who wants a sausage repeating on them all day... These were ok and were probably just up from your basic economy. The fried egg looked semi raw as if a film of egg white membrane was protecting the yolk from being broken. Thankfully their policy of making you eat your breakfast in an extremely dim room helped me not be put off too much by this. Hash brown basically just fell apart and didnt have any real substance too it, quite poor. I would not have paid for this breakfast even before seeing it as I know what quality these sort of hotels provide breakfast wise. As was staying away with work was included in room price but think it costs £8.95 which frankly is ridiculous although you could eat as much from the continental buffet spread too.
