Take Charge Of Your Eyes “And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.” Numbers 13:33 God told Moses to send twelve spies into the land He had already given to them and they selected from each tribe twelve able bodied men who went to the place God had told them. They went into the land and stayed there for 40 days and they brought fruits of the land to the point that it took two people to lift a cluster of grapes, so they had to put it on a pole and lift. In fact, they said the land flowed with milk and honey, which meant all that God said to them was true and they brought the fruit as evidence. But then they stretched it further, they said they saw the sons of Anak, giants in the land, and that the land eats up its people. They also said they saw the Canaanites, the Amorites and the Jebusites who are wicked people. And they said we are not able to take that land because of what we saw, because this people are stronger than we are. Not only that when they looked at their stature they said we are too small and the Bible said because they saw themselves as too small, the enemy saw them as such. If you must possess what God has promised you, you must take charge of your eyes. If it is contradicting what God has said, reject it. Now the issue is that those spies were in that land for 40 days together with the giants and so how were they able to come out, how were they able to take the grapes from the land, if the land eats its inhabitants how were they able to come back safely without being eaten up? They said they saw. Let me tell you, the devil likes operating in the arena of your senses, you will see a lot of things that will tell you, there is no point making effort, you are finished, there is no need believing God for your healing because it will never come, you are already a dead meat. There is no need believing God for a husband because you are already old, don’t even expect to have a child because the medical report says that you don’t have a sperm count and your wife has already gone into menopause. He is going to show you many things and if you allow your eyes to be deceived, you will go without and you will not blame God. God is not intimidated by your physical condition, it is not about how you are or what you feel, it is about what He said. Once He speaks it, His word overrules every natural thing because His word is the final authority. So you must learn to take charge of your eyes.
