*Take a Stand* Daniel 3:17-18 (KJV) .17. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. 18. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. ../.. . Shadrack, Meshack, and Abednego were driven by conviction. Nothing would stand between them and their God, not even the most powerful man in the kingdom driven to a seething rage by their acting on their conviction. Not even the possibility of dying in a fiery furnace if their God chose not to rescue them could serve to deter. Now that is conviction. . When it comes to our faith in God, do we display that same kind of conviction or do we treat God as if He is more of a preference? can anything deter us from standing firm for Him? . Father, as we come to You in prayer this morning, we are asking You to give us faith to Take a Stand, even in facing danger or in the most challenging of times, we pray in Jesus Name Amen.
