Take the right position on Israel and you can raise 1/4 million, Senate candidate is advised reddit/r/politics/comments/2c88kt/take_the_right_position_on_israel_and_you_can/ • we need a withering wealth tax on the parasitic rich. 100% estate tax, maximum wage, transaction taxes, whatever it takes. what religion the parasites practice is irrelevant- hoarding resources is unethical no matter who does it. pragcap/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/FCIC.jpg michaeljournal.org/myth.htm • You really just need to stop eying the other guys stack and do for yourself. • The problem being the other guys stack is an inordinate amount of wealth being used to purchase political favour and lobby for laws the common citizen does not clearly benefit from. Telling someone to ignore the excessively advantaged in our society and how they wield power is ignorant of how much disparity exists now and what it does to our political landscape. Its a stupid platitude. • Not many things are uglier than greed. Envy happens to be one though. • hoarding resources hurts people. the planets resources belong to everyone. evolutionaryeconomics.files.wordpress/2011/12/capitalism1.jpg • even if the other guy got his stack by stealing everyone elses? thats dumb. resources on this planet are finite, we need to share. pragcap/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/FCIC.jpg tell me how this graph shows that bankers truly earn their inflated pay. hoarding resources is unethical behavior. it hurts people. • Damn, is that all it takes to buy Congress? Lets see how that all works out when we break it down. The US House of Representatives has a total of 435 voting members. The Senate adds another 100 to the shopping list. Since we only need, say, 2/3rds of the total to pass our agenda, we need to purchase 357 members of Congress. As an aside, this assures us that should the President elect to veto our agenda, we have enough votes to override that veto. So, 357 at $250,000/each gives us a total of $89,250,000 which sounds like a lot of money until you factor in the return. Well, heres $225 million for Israel’s Iron Dome rocket defense system which doesnt even begin to touch the benefits of this expenditure. For 2012, a total of $3.075 billion was given to Israel. Damn, thats one hell of a return on a very modest investment. Heres an idea, what if Reddit decided to pool our money and buy some of that sweet, sweet, government aid for ourselves? Supposedly, there are 3,079,735 readers here in /r/politics/ (even though that probably equates to me, six other guys, Unidan and all their alts) and if we all agree to chip in roughly $30/each well all be rolling in money by this time next year! Okay Im in, whos with me? • The Democrat Party is the party of the poor they said. The Republican Party is the party of the rich they said. Dang, I wish I was one of those poor Democrats.
