Talk about going the distance! #ACFChef Ryan Rogiers recently participated in the Burning River Endurance Run, running 50 miles in 12 hours to raise money for Alzheimers, a disease that has affected his mother since 2006. Rogiers, a culinary instructor at Richland Community College, will continue raising funds this fall when he, #ACFChef Brian Tucker, and a group of student volunteers from their schools culinary arts program host a charity dinner at Bistro 537, the Colleges new student-operated restaurant. The event will serve not only as the premier dinner at the restaurant but also the first event since Richland Community Colleges culinary arts program received national accreditation by ACFs Education Foundation on June 30, 2014.
