Talking how my orange shoes being clean will somehow help OSU against Baylor this weekend got me thinking about how many funny superstitions I have regarding football. I still blame OSUs only loss this season to the fact that I forgot to wear my jersey to work that day. If I take someone to a game and we lose the odds of them getting invited back goes way down. I hadnt been eating my traditional bacon wrapped turkey leg before home games this year until the TCU game, which is when the offense finally woke up. I could go on and on. The get even more ridiculous. Deep down I understand that none of this actually makes a bit of difference, but its fun to get lost in stuff like that every once in a while. My brain is very logical and analytical and rarely do I get caught up in things but football seems to be the one thing that breaks through that. At least on game day. Im very logical and analytical about it the other 6 days of the week. :)
